      EMERGENCY!! Seam failure.

Unfortunately I just had a seam failure. I bought this tank only a few months ago from a member on here, and the seam flayed and flooded my living room. Does anybody have a large holding tank I can borrow? I am also in need of a emergency replacement. It is a 220, but I could go anywhere from 220 to 300. Let me know what you have, biggest thing is a holding tank right now. Thank you guys.

Sorry to hear that. The largest available container we have is a 35 gallon barrel, I know it's not much compared to what you need. Let me know if you want to borrow it.

Thank you, but yeah that’s too small. I’m going to try and get one of the 250g totes and cut the top off, if I can find one. I think I remember seeing someone selling one recently.

Luckily it wasn’t a catastrophic failure. The seam failed, but the tank only leaked 1/4 of the water. Still a ton of water, but my livestock is ok. For now at least. I have a tiedown holding the panel on so it doesn’t completely pop off, so I have no idea how much time I have.

Luckily there is very minimal coral in here. I can transfer the coral into my frag/grow out system, but my fish are what I really need the holding tank for. I have multiple 8” tangs that are too large for my frag system.

Damn Travis, I'm sorry to hear that and from someone who knows what is like to have a catastrophic failure I'm happy to hear you caught it in time and it wasn't like what happened to me in march losing almost everything in my packed reef of almost a decade!

It seems like you've got things under control at this point but if there's anything I can help with from gear to hands on lmk

Thank you, I ended up getting a tote, and had a couple people message me saying they have tanks as well, but I greatly appreciate the offer.

Thanks man. Yeah definitely glad we caught it right when it started. I could actually use a large heater if you happen to have one?

That would be awesome. I can’t leave my house right now because of everything in containers, but I can probably have Megan come pick one up. Or I’ll pay for your gas if you are willing to come out here?

Wow I'm so sorry bro that's the worst, I always lose sleep over things like this. Sorry I don't have any tanks or totes to offer but I have extra pumps if you need some extra flow somewhere. If you need any help with anything please do give me a shout, 6194171469. Don't worry you'll be back up and running before you know it.

Thank you everyone. Right now I have all of the livestock safely in an IBC tote, and I was able to put a lot of the Coral inside my frag tank. I don’t think I will have any losses, but it’s hard to say right now. I could use a heater, because I don’t have one that will keep up with the IBC tote being inside my garage

I can't really head out that way as my hands are full right now too (see construction pic below) but if you wanna have Megan head out there's two 300w heaters available for ya as long as you need bro

As unfortunate as this is it really is great you caught it when you did. Mine went from this

...And here's the space as of today

Wow sorry that happened that sucks, but glad you caught it in time and were able to salvage all the livestock, I've had multiple nightmares of my tank breaking lol.
