Question for any zoa experts out there

I have a few zoa's that are doing well but one group that is not. I was told they are shazams but who knows, anyways. They are not fully open hardly any lashes I've had them for over a year and they have been like this the whole time I've had them. Here are photos of my zoa's and the ones in question. They are all on the sand bed. I don't know if it's placement or what any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. All my parameters are good. All Corals are doing great. I have a two tone wrasse that will take care of pests.

First thing I would do is move it in a more shaded area, had the same issue with one of my unnamed zoas and I lowered the light intensity and it fixed it

I was going to say give it more light. I’ve been told that zoas like more light than people think. I moved this one frag up in the tank and in a few days it opened up. But I would try less light first just in case.

Try less light first. It’s safer and there’s a chance that colony is sitting in a PAR hotspot, so moving it would remedy that issue. Zoas need surprisingly little light and will expand to gather more of it when needed.

Yeah the lighting range for zoas is all over the place lol, some like high light, other like low light. Same for the flow too. There is no one size fits all lol

Sounds like we need a Shazam showdown.

If it's not light, have you checked for any while spots (zoapox) or dipped to see if you have any zoa eating nudis or sundial snails? If that's the frag in question in your second photo, possible that aptaisia is stinging it and keeping them from fully opening or you might have one within the polyps.
