      Torch help

Can I try and glue the body back on the skeleton? I tried out a new powerhead for 3 hours 2 days ago and this is the second head that is now dying. Really too bad as this was my favorite Coral.

I doubt you can, it looks like it's doing a polyp bailout. Polyp bailout it's basically what it sounds like. It's a last effort to save the coral. Usually it's very unsuccessful when it comes to lps doing it.

Yeah it's probably a goner...if you have iodine make a dip with some tank water and a couple drops so it's looking like dark tea...you're probably still gonna lose it but that'd be your best shot from my experience

I am not optimistic about this one. Honestly it's pretty amazing that 3 hours of changed flow did this. I glued it but I don't think that's really going to work

Put some rubble rocks in a little tupperware container and place the coral in it and in an area of low flow. That’s your best chance and if you’re lucky it’ll re-attach and start growing a new skeleton.
