Custom fabricated in my garage & held together with swear words.

Filtration:

Then: Simplicity 320dc skimmer

Now: No skimmer and custom designed algae turf scrubber (It’s insanely effective).

Lights:

Then: 3 Galaxyhydro 165w fixtures with SB Reeflight upgrade boards

Now: ATI Sunpower 6 bulb with ACfinity fans

Flow:

Then: Dual Maxspect Gyre 250’s

Now: Dual Jebao PP-15’s & maybe dual PP-4’s if I ever decide to install them.

Controller: Reefkeeper 2 (old school)

Dosing:

Then: Two Little Fishies Kalk reactor

Now: Jebao doser and two part

Soon: Custom fabricated calcium reactor

Parameters:

SG 1.025
DKH 8.0
Cal 430
Mag 1450
Nitrates 2.5ppm (Feed twice a day and want around 5ppm, but the ATS won’t let me)
Po4 .04

I might need to “dirty up” my tank a bit more for better colors.




And at the moment as I’m transitioning to a SPS dominant, bare bottom setup. I’m casting concrete rockwork and will have them in the tank in a few months once they cure and become ph neutral.
