I've been breeding Banggai Cardinals and I got one that I think may have a swim bladder defect or something. He bounces up and down constantly. But he seems to get along fine. He has always done it since day one. He was staying the same size as the others for a while but ended up smaller. I think because he is always struggling to hover like Banggais do. When I had him in a 10 gallon with an aquaclear 60 and he was much less noticeable than in the 20 long with the same filter.
