Stpatrick's Red Sea Reffers 425xl build

I think I have my lighting sorted as well. I picked up this 4x54 HO T5 pendant. It has mounts for all the top LED lights on the market. Pretty slick. I’m just not sure which LEDs I’m going to role with. I’m leaning toward the hydra 52. Input? I also plan on using six-inch baseboard to frame the pendant. I plan on painting it satin white To match the stand.

And I look at the sump system with the sump LEDs on. I do plan on mounting LEDs above as well.

All my rock arrived today. I’m excited I can now start the aquascape. I’m on the road to getting this system wet.

I spent close to three days and a lot of trial and error and I finally came up with something I really like. Here’s my final rendition of the Aquascape. Thoughts?

A few more pictures with the T5 lights on. I still haven’t decided which LEDs I’m going to be running. Maybe the GEN 4s. Not sure.

Aquascape looks great. This whole setup is my goal for the next tank.

If you are going with acros, you may want a little bit more variation in height. Maybe some higher rocks for pieces that will like higher par. Just my opinion. Otherwise, it looks great man.

As a SPS guy I hear you. The top of the arch is 10” below the wl. The other high points are 12. I may add more rock. Not sure.

I think Aqua SD still has the Radions next to Hydra 52's on the display. I would go check them out to see which has more appeal. I like the Hydra's and have the 26's over my tank. They grow SPS well and the blue really "pops' with those lights. I'm sure Radion's are nice as well. Personally, I may go all T5 on the next tank.
