Someone just came into our shop and attempted to steal powerheads from us. We were suspicious of him from the getko, he walked in with what appeared to be an empty bag on his shoulder.

There is also a section of frags that are gone, he must have gotten away with those.

This is his car. Tall white male, probably at least 6 ft brown curly hair.

We assume he has stolen from us before, as he said he has been in before, and we could tell what his game plan was as soon as he walked in...

Seriously people are f*kn garbage. Post his pic and I think for a few bucks online his address comes up with the plates also if you have footage of him reaching in the tank file a report and whatever action you can take. Sorry to hear.

Yup, I would file a police report for insurance at the least. A fish store in Orange got broken into last week as well, might help to talk to them and see if they recovered video. You might want to look at getting video surveillance yourself. Ring cameras are pretty cheap..

Sorry to hear this man. Crazy what people will do. That shop is so small as well, how could he have grabbed frags and a power head with o it t you guys noticing? I know when I go up there, you guys are on it, I always keep my hands behind my back and ask for assistance if I have any questions.
Maybe a ledger at the front that people need to fill out before even entering

It was a 2 person crew one person would distract bri and I or try to distract us as the other 1 would put stuff into a bag he was carrying we knew exactly what was going on but just had to catch him in the act eventually we did and at that point we are able to kick him out and call the cops

If that happen the first time then why didn't you get any cameras and why did you or your staff let him in again? You should of taken a pic of him, post here and post for all your staff to see.
