I just finished my first bucket and have to say.. my initial impression is that this stuff SUCKS! I have been using Red Sea Coral pro, Instant Ocean, and instant Ocean reef crystals recently, and compared to those three this Tropic Marin mixes in TERRIBLY!! The second I add the mix in to my RO it turns the water bright white milky, and even after 12+hrs of mixing AND adding a second pump with a filter stuck on the end the water is STILL murky..

      Anyone else have similar experience?
I mix 2g -50g at a time and within 20 to 40 minutes pure clarity. Never had that issue, contact them.

How fast do you put the salt into the water? I’m using the bioreef right now and it clears up just as fast as when I use instant ocean. I mix about 45 gallons at a time, and it takes a couple hours to mix clear with a powerful pump.

I mix in 50 gallon batches. I have used the same technique for years... using a plastic cup that holds (2) cups I sift the salt down into the 50g of RO water. 50gallons worth of salt goes in over a period of several minutes. Never had a problem using this technique with any other brand before, normally clear within an hour.

I've used tropic Marin Pro Reef almost my whole time in the hobby. Never had a problem with it mixing milky. Usually able to use within 15 minutes of mixing

That’s crazy I just mixed 20g and it was pumped into my tank in less than 30 minutes. Are you sure someone didn’t actually spill a glass of milk into your trash can?!?!

Make second account and repeat delivery also think the 20% works for it.

      my buddy ordered 30 lol
He made new email each to get the 20%off only allowed 1 per order at 45.25 or 2 at 91.87 so ordering 2 at a time. The difference .is 1.37 more when doing 2 since the couponing guess maxes at 20 bucks. New emails same PayPal and info

      Bye Red Sea CP

I doubt it’s the case but would be cool if the repeat locked in at that price appreciate the info, switching from rscp. I did read that repeat delivery is guaranteed at the “lowest price” but who knows what that means.
