Looking for plankton for plankton farm for school project

We are looking for some starter plankton to put in our school project to grow plankton. Advice would also be appreciated. We already have a few gallon water bottles and an air pump pushing air into the containers and some lights. We got some salt from the pet store and a recommendation to use miracle grow and come on here and find someone who might have plankton. We're in Carlsbad and are looking for someone who might have a farm of their own who could give us some pointers and some instructions on how to not kill the plankton.

Ya, i used to culture it. However i just moved out of the state so everything is gone. If u have any questions shoot me a pm as im unlikely to stay up to date on posts. id be happy to help, its actually quite simple.
