Made my own. Looked like crap then busted out the wallet and went with octoaquatics.com the lids Matt makes are pricey but awesome
What are ur tank dims? I have a brand new DIY kit purchased from BRS for a 24" cube if you're interested
21” x 26.5”
21”x26.5”. I have the JBJ 45gal rimless tank
yeah its not going to work, sorry
Go buy a window screen frame kit from home Depot. I have some 1/2" black mesh you can have. Like the stuff covering the koi at aquatic warehouse. My lid total cost was $15
You can buy the screen kits at lowes or hd, then buy this screen mesh on ebay. comes out pretty decent for really cheap. https://ebay.us/LBnkmg
Any problem with the frame material being metal?
Glad I saw this post. I lost 2 fish last week due to jumping out overnight

This is what i used, except I spent a little more money on the brushed aluminum frame, instead of the painted white aluminum.

I would recommend getting the 1/4 screen from Bulk Reef Supply. I used the 1/2 netting before and some of my wrasses would jump right through and one even got it head stuck in it.
True, if you have small fish, get the smaller mesh. My smallest fish is about 4" so I didn't need the small mesh
