      Paly removal and ID

Any suggestions on removing these safely? Any idea what kind they are? Are they particularly toxic?

Those are invasive palythoas and horrible to have. Trash em. Frag them off the rock carefully or. Remove what you want and trhwo away the rock if small enough.

Removal-bandsaw of possible or remove the frag plugs of the other zoas tash rock.

I take some tweezers when I am doing my water change , try and grab as far down the bottom before they turn into to goo and suck them out. Then after I have sucked them out I take water weld which is an epoxy putty and put it on top on the rock where they were. If you don't apply the putty they just come back. I have been doing this with these palys and also xenia. Its a pain in the ass. If your problem is localized I would remove the rock immediately and throw it away
