need input on vertex calcium reactor

Hey guys, I have a vertex RX 6 duo calcium reactor. Does anyone here have one or have experience with it? Its a design flaw of the reactor. Theres a leak on the intake part of the pump. The way the RX6 is designed is that the pump has one union connection and the other is just twist cap that can 360 degrees. And that's were the leak is coming from. It has an O ring that seals it but its not enough I guess to make a tight seal. So if anyone has experience with this please comment. Im really trying to get this fix. Thanks in advance

I have one, still setting it up, but I have run water through mine with no leaks. try putting some aquarium safe vasaline on the o ring. I've heard of it sealing it self over time with it's own salt crepe from other users.
