I have some macrobacter7 if you want it. 92129
Dr tims might Be at Aquatic whare house. Red sea also carries a bacteria Nitro Bac. You dont "Need" all the stuff in this kit. its just alk and carbon dosing .https://www.marinedepot.com/Red_Sea_...SABEgKf4vD_BwE
Dr Tim also made the formula for Bio Spira. The main difference is , one and only contains 7(?) strains and Bio spira only one.
The other way is to use fresh Scripps water(its live). Or use a shrimp. New bagged live sand also contains nitrifying bacteria, itll cycle your reef.
Probidio is another good one. They have one called start up( i have some you can have) or just use the Bio kit Reef. Again, I have some if you want it.
You can also just dose the pure ammoina and the bacteria will form. I have some un oped dr tims ammonia down south here if youd like it. I bought it directly From Dt tim(no autograph sadly)
How big is the tank you are looking to cycle? I have a 85%+ full bottle of Fritz turbostart 900. I got 3 weeks ago.
Thanks for the tips crabby. I'm doing a tank transfer and the new tank will be dry sand and ceramic rock. I don't have time for a full cycle so I'm trying to jump start it as much as possible. Tank is roughly 50g total water volume
No sweat. Use the old water if its good. if its sumped, put live rock in the sump. San Diego Skip cycle, live rock and Scripps water. Id still wait a month o course. Cus...Sloooow.
