Back in my day we called that a micromussa. I wold have kicked a puppy for that piece in 2006, haha.

In ~2006 micromussa amakusensis went for upwards of $75 per polyp. Because they aren't normally found in Indonesian waters. Once Australia was opened up for exportation the market was flooded with them and they became much cheaper. I used to buy boxes and boxes of 'assorted favia' from Golden Ina filled bags with favia looking corals. Every few boxes had a micro colony which got fragged and sold. I would basically give the favias away at or below cost.
