^^ Agree w/ crabby, good to enlarge your audience and sources of information, though each site including this have their own specific benefits.

Equipment wise I have not added much, but I did just do flucanzole treatment just recently and now my tank looks super clean(And I'm normally not interested in quick fixes like this, but it worked w/ no ill affects)

Now I just need to rid some aptasia, trying to find and figure what might be best, Matted file, CBB, or other...

Appreciate the follow up on your flucanzole treatment. Glad it went well. If you want to borrow my majano wand to try to zap some Aiptasia just let me know.

Oohh...I just may take you up on that, frags or beers as a thank you!

After many years of autopilot, this tank has surprised me w/ more than usual steps and things to deal with, but it's getting there, I'm enjoying most of what I see right now, but those dang apatsias!

I REALLY wanted gorgonians in this tank, so I'm trying to avoid CBB's, and matted files are so hit and miss...

I've had a reef tank for going on 20 years now and this is my first set up with a ATO. The osmolator is worth it's weight in gold, seriously.

IMO... leds, tangs and wrasses... leds diff give a better blue and use less electricity also TANGS im really bad when it comes to feeding so i usually throw in some tangs in the tank to contract algea growth and wrasses to controll any pest since i only feed like 1 a week my tank usually pest free lol make them search for there food

Couple different types out there. eBay has them ~$50 marinedepot has a $80 version. Not sure if there’s a difference, I went with eBay... there is a sweet spot as far as depth & it doesn’t work well for things in the back of the tank, that said- i agree, it’s pretty darn awesome

Cool thread Daniel, hope all is well brother!

Coolest addition would be my Scopas Black Tang Hybrid.... I'll get a pic of her soon....

I agree. I just picked up another one and they are not cheap for what they are. I wished I hadn’t sold my old one with my old tank. There are Chinese knock offs for about half the price but I didn’t want to chance it. I love to sit in front of the tank and look at new stuff pop up on the rocks weekly.

Ahhhhhh you're making me miss my main!!!!

I loved my "portal" mag and got a lot of comments on it... maybe I'll dust it off and figure out a way for its use on the fragtank... or maybe I'll just bring over a sixer and enjoy yours lol
