Last time i had an algea outbreak it was because of high phosphates. What are your tank parameters?

Water parameters are off. Control PO4/No3, and lighting, and get some clean up crew. Turbo snails would love those algae. That algae is called Calothrix.

If you have this algae, your water parameters are not good. Run some GFO and in a few weeks it will disappear.

      Vibrant

I’ve had luck with “Vibrant”. Linked below is r2r references to vibrant. It does a number on all algae so one drawback is that your macros will take a hit-

looks like a dinoflagellate.. or possibly a slimy diatom. most recommendations are to look at the Ph and try to keep it well above 8.1, make sure the Po4 isnt bottomed out(true zero) as they reive in hig no3 low po4 environments.

Most often more natural cures are PH, no3 p04 testing, removing GFO and po4 media, manual removal, stopping any carbon dosing ad the feeding of aminos etc, do Pro biotics like dr tims one and only to compete with the organism and remove its food source(like free ammonia). once those are stable , a few days of black outs seem to work, and in some cases peroxide dosing is effective.

Do be a bit cautious with the vibrant, its a pretty aggressive carbon dose as well as algecide(yea I know it says its bacteria but works the same), it can drop your nutrients pretty fast and doesn't always kill off the dinos.
