      Torch

I won this a few weeks ago on Aqua SD. I tried to push it into the sand because the turbo snails were knocking it over. When I did the thing split into three; really it broke into 3. Should I leave it be? Or should I try to frag it into three pieces?

      Few options
      1. Trash it
2.suck off all the brown jelly the dip the coral in iodine.

Brown jelly can spread to other lps

Brown jelly cure, very harsh but might work. Agitate the coral so the tents reteat as much as they can. Take out of the tank for around 5 minutes into air. Let water drain. Put coral back into iodine solution, the coral will suck up the iodine solution and all the affected areas can be reached.

This is the only thing that worked for me

Thats the thing, I didn't push it hard...makes a little suspect...not sure what it is..." acid morphing....some ohter jibberish" It was 15 bucks, but hate to see it go. Im am watching it...it honestly looks better than it did a few days ago and I don't really want to mess it. Ill try the above if it gets worse...tnx

Ha! Don’t hate the player, hate the game jk- it cut off the “constructive” part of my response. Indonesian torches are finicky and susceptible to change- I’ve had better luck with Aussie torches. An uphill battle for you but I do hope for the best & wish you luck- just be mindful that a dying/dead coral in a tank isn’t great for the others either (especially if brown jelly is involved).
