Thanks Nick, at one time you mentioned that you can raise the skimmer in the sump to increase its performance. Can you shed a little light on that?

It's just to make sure you put the water level at optimal height... 6-8 inches I believe it is..

Yeah, I think the manual/information sheet says it should be in 6-8" of water for optimal skimming.

I will check the instructions tonight. So far I love this skimmer. Nice dry foam. What a big difference from Prizm. And its super quiet.

Hey Hung, its the the G1 I bought from you. I finally got my new setup running. I am not looking to modify it right now, but wanted to see what my options were. So far its doing a great job.

I did have to buy a new sedra pump as the other one had trouble starting some times. I will contact the manufacturer to see if they can send me a replacement. Its practically a brand new pump.
