      My New WaterBox 100.3

After many nights, days, weeks of research I finally decided to go with WaterBox. It was def. a toss up between Red Sea 350 ( which is awesome by the way ) and WaterBox 100.3. Both offered a modern, classy look and a tank that brings a wow factor. Waterbox offered 5 sided 1/2' star fire glass, and sexy looking glass overflow for easy cleaning maintenance. Company also offered a 5 chambered sump star fire glass sump that comes with an auto top of system and compartment included in their package. Over all I couldn't be more pleased on the outcome of the build, tank is as advertised and quality is amazing!!.

Shipping was on point and less than a week I received my tank!

After couples of hours messing around with all the pieces, beautiful white stand and tank was up.

I decided to go with, Reef Octopus V6 as my return pump, which I am really please in how easy the controllability of the device is. With all the raves about Gyre controller, and flow setting, i went with Gyre 230 which i think I will be adding a secondary pump to alternate two waves coming from each side.

Now with the lighting, I knew I wanted an hybrid set up. Geisman and the Ati was too damn expensive so thankfully aquatic life came out with the hybrid model with consist of two 36' 4 bulb t5 ( 2 in each side ) which came with various attachment for your led module you choose to have. Since I already have an Ai prime Hd, I decided to go with Two Ai prime Hd. The only complaint I have is that even with the attachments included, you still have to purchase the hanging kit from ai for the aluminum piece because the Ai prime does not have any place to attached their Aquatic life attachments to the actual module. I installed 4 ati blue plus which BRS has a really cool video on par level and review on hybrid AQ fixture.

I decided to build a housing for my controllers to hide the cords. it was a bit of challenge dealing with a 27g sump that left me with a foot of a space.

I was not a big fan of the 3/4 vinyl return hose. I decided to hard plumbed my return. I wanted to install a check valve, so I went with 1' check valve built in union, and decided to also build manifold with two ball valve that would house my gfo/ carbon reactors and in the future Bio pellets.

With the tank ready to go, I decided to go with Tropic eden Reef flakes.

I wanted two rock identity for the my aquascape and leave some room for the back front back and middle.

You might want to consider adding sheets of acrylic / something to block the light from the refugium from spilling into other areas of the sump.. Anywhere you get light you will likely have issues with algaes growing.. potentially leading to decreased functioning of pumps, skimmers, reactors, etc.
