It's an Aussie Waratah anemone.
Looks kinda like a tide pool nem. There's not a whole lotta info out there on these guys but don't worry about not having a temperate tank... I've had the mother working on two years now and it's doing just fine in my full reef nem tank. It isn't photosynthetic though so feeding is a must, but it is super responsive so even if I haven't fed it recently and it's closed, I'll wiggle some food near it and it'll open right up. With regular feedings (2-4week) it's open 24/7.
They don't get too big, the mother has stayed around the size of a champagne cork since I got her. The baby is still small but since I started feeding it has doubled in size from tiny to around the size of the average zoa...with regular feeding I think it'll grow to adult size relatively quickly
I know these aren't for the average reefer but I figured I'd see if anybody is interested.
I paid over a bill for the mother so I think $45 for the baby is reasonable. Sorry for the crappy pics but the mom is in the corner so it's kinda hard to get good pics of her
