JF Raja Rampage Bounce Chalice?

Hey everyone, I have this really strange morph happening on my JF Raja Rampage chalice for the past couple months that's got me really baffled and a lot of people have commented on it lately so I wanted to post it to see what people think and if it might be worth anything? Its definitely filling itself with water, not air, each day and then deflating itself as the photo period ends. It's one of the strangest things I've seen in the hobby for a while and I don't know whether to make heads or tails out of it. I've seen small bubbles in chalices before but nothing like this. It seems totally healthy aside from some minor color change that the eyes have gone through because of the strong lighting over the years. Other than that it's just pretty wicked lol.

That is interesting. Did that side ever get injured, stung, bumped?
Curious how it changes going forward.

It has been fragged a couple times, but not on that side. It just spontaneously started doing it around the first of the year. It is a pretty low nutrient sps dominant tank, so maybe it's trying to fill itself up and get access to more nutrients? If it continues by this summer I'm considering it a permanent morph and asking $3k for it haha.

It will need a new name. How about JF Bouncing Nuts Sack? Price, I’d make it $5k, some collector will be happy to obtain it, cause everyone knows even JF only has one! Lol.

That aside, I hope you keep us updated on this interesting development. I’m wondering if other folks have chalice with this feature?

The bubble has been popped! Hey guys, got a little update for you. I decided to frag this guy because I couldn't handle looking at the bubble anymore lol and felt that it was stunting its growth. So now I have a couple frags which should heal in about a week. The one in the foreground is reserved for my good friend Kris.C and the other will be up for grabs, so I guess keep a lookout for it around next weekend at this time when I post it on the Livestock FS section.
