      Canopy

With a heavy heart I'm coming to the realization that I'm not going to be using this any time soon so I think it's best to see if anyone else is interested.

I built this less than a year ago and put A LOT of thought into the structure and its functionality!

It's a 72" frame that has three front panels that are removable for a quick feeding or whatnot, or if you need more elbow room the whole front section is on a (treated) piano hinge. All the wood is sealed with Solarez, you could wash this thing in the ocean! It's top and back are open framed so whatever lighting you want will breath and the addition of fans is doable. I was running all leds but have t5 retrofits I was mulling over adding if I went back to more sps. I had just hung some gutter guard on the back as a week before the tank blewup I added a know jumper from qt and hadn't had a chance to order screen.

This was my favorite addition to any of my reefs over the many years I've been in the hobby and I wasn't planning on selling it but I'm realistic that with everything else on my plate I'm not gonna be setting up another system of that size anytime soon. If you're interested pm me

I asked my buddy and he said he doesn't want to mess with trying to widen it. Bump it ttt for a well thought out canopy

I've had a couple people interested but they were for a larger front-to-back tank and I figured I'd post my suggestion to Dan's buddy about modding the canopy- I don't think it'd be too hard to extend the back section to fit a larger front-to-back depth tank. The main part of the canopy would be untouched, it would simply be lengthening the back frame and then adding a panel piece so it wouldn't be noticeable after it's done...a little project but not much more than a couple hours work including sealing it up after the mods

Had some more interest and thought I'd highlight the potential mod option
