      What are all these little hairs growing on the rocks?

      Nothing important, I am just curious because I noticed these hairs this morning. They don't look like algae to me.

      I wonder if they are brand new tube corals before they grow out into tubes.

      Hmm... after googling, that seems like a good candidate. I will see what they do when I jab them tomorrow.

      Ok, I just looked at them and tapped them with a plastic stick and they retracted completely. Now, these are as fine as spider silk. They are very fine and pretty short, like 2-3mm. I guess they are just some kind of feather duster or similar creature, filtering the water for me.
