      Emergency holding tank

Very very sad news. I have to move my system. Long story short, there was a flood at my house and it’s no longer habitable, so we have to move ASAP.

What I need is at least one large holding tank, maybe a 300 gallon acrylic tank, or a couple of those big tubs. I am moving a 180 display that is packed with coral, mainly sps, and also a 60 tank full of frags and macro algae.

If you have any type of acrylic tank that I can use, please let me know. This has been a crazy situation and having to move the tank during all of this has been stressful to say the least, so this would be a huge help to us.

      Thank you

Also looking to purchase a 200-300 gallon glass tank and stand . If I’m moving so I may as well upgrade and make some sort of positive of the situation

Thank you guys. If I can’t get my hands on a large tank, I will definitely take the offer to use those tanks. My tank is safe for now, but this weekend is when we want to move it to the new house

Oh man, super bummer. Ironically, I am going through the same thing over here. We had a pipe burst in the kitchen and flood half the house. The floors in the room with the tank had to come up and I had to move around my sump to take out the drywall.

I have a 50g Rubbermaid tub(horse trough) if you need.

Wow T that's sh¡tty news. I still haven't been over to the new spot but I know you put in a lot of work in on that setup and that is truly unfortunate to have to redo things!

I am currently in limbo of potentially needing to do something similar with my main that is PACKED with corals so unfortunately I can sympathize with the dread of moving everything. I went and picked up the largest storage containers home depot had just in case they're needed here.

I don't know how much help I can offer with large tanks but if you need a hand hit me up.

Thank you everybody, I will probably take you up on your offers. I had a couple people reach out to me yesterday, sorry for not getting back to you, yesterday was pretty hectic. We get to move into our new house tomorrow, and I’m not sure if we are going to try to move the tank this weekend or next weekend

OK so I’m thinking we are going to do the move Saturday. I can use all the help that I can get, if anybody is willing to come help for a few hours (4-6 hours) I will hook you up with cash or coral. If you want coral, I have a bunch of stuff in my frag tank I can give for the help. I will also supply food and drinks, that includes beer lol. My current house is in Santee, and our new house is in Rancho San Diego. It’s only about a 15 minute drive. You can drive yourself back-and-forth, or you could ride with us. I will have several trucks and a trailer or two.
