Good price. I would need to dose 2 capsules. Correct?

I would recommend figuring out the reason why you are having the problem in the first place before you start adding medication to your reef. I had a crazy GHA problem and it was from poor husbandry. I got back on water changes, keeping stabilized parameters and picked up a good sized clean up crew. Everything was gone in a couple weeks and hasn't returned.

It worked wonders for me! But for some reason after treatment all of my chaeto died. I'm not mad if that's the only casualty after a year long battle with gha and Bryopsis though.

      REEF HD:
      Reef Flux
      NOW IN STOCK at
      Ellis Aquatics
(Fluconazole (the ingredient) is commonly used to eradicate fish fungal infections, Green Hair Algae, and Bryopsis. Although Reef Flux (formally branded/know as Algae Buster) is no longer advertised as an anti algae product)

      $16
      Or 2/$30

Call, TXT, Comment or PM for more info
      562 822 6673

Previously known as Algae Buster, Reef Flux is an aquarium fluconazole treatment that is effective against fungal fish infections. To avoid unintended nutrient spikes it should not be used in tanks with Bryopsis or Caulerpa refugiums.

Directions: Turn off skimmer for first 3 days. Activated carbon and phosphate remover can be used after 3 days, but remove other chemical filtration. Empty 1 capsule for every 10 gallons of tank water (20mg per gallon) into high flow area in sump. After 14 days perform a minimum 30% water change. Do not overdose. Filter socks are recommended during treatment in order to help clean the aquarium.

Only for use on ornamental aquariums and fish. Not for human use and not for treating fish intended for human consumption. Keep away from children and animals. In case of accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately. In case of accidental tank overdose, the medication can be removed using Purigen.

What is Reef Flux and how does it work?

Reef Flux is a fluconazole-based reef treatment for topical and systemic fungal fish diseases.

Will Reef Flux harm my saltwater fish or invertebrates?

Reef Flux is reef safe for fish and invertebrates as long as it is dosed correctly.

Can Reef Flux affect my nitrates and phosphates?

It is possible that Reef Flux can raise nutrients as it treats your tank if a filter sock is not used and cleaned regularly during treatment.

Does this seem like a lot of packaging for 10 capsules?

We received feedback from stores while developing Reef Flux, and many had shoplifting concerns with smaller packaging sizes. Another issue is that for legal reasons there is necessary information on the label that needs to be legible. As a result the packaging size was adjusted to fix any concerns.

      Contents: 10 capsules.

Active Ingredient: Fluconazole 200mg per capsule.

Only for use on ornamental aquariums and fish. Not for human use and not for treating fish intended for human consumption. Keep away from children and animals. In case of accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately.

Pleased to say that 99% is gone with zero side affects to corals or fish!
I only had a couple growths of bryopsis that were brought in on a frag that I didn’t see. For a little while is was manually removing but decided to try this & I can’t believe how well it worked!

Good on ya and good post!
Glad to see this worked for you and good tips for others.
I'm pretty sure this is what some are also using when cloves become invasive.
I just scrubbed cousin IT outa my tank, might need to grab some of this just in case.

I agree finding source of nutrients is key, but sometimes it's just stuff coming from used/poorly cared for rock, and good to get rid of the algaes before they choke anything out while you are working on dealing w/ that nutrient source, this seems to be a good fix for that.

So, it’s been three weeks since dosing. Very happy to report that this stuff works!
      Took this pic this morning.

OK, I'm actually a week into doing this myself, man, wish I would have done this long ago.
I was hesitant to do it w/ my magnifica, but so far that and all corals seem perfectly fine, and happy to report HA and bry both are diminishing.
Certainly seems like the magic bullet at this time.
      Thanks for the tip Duncan!

Me too, and I have a lavendar tang, but neither will touch bryopsis really, and my case just too much HA.
I'm not fan of gimicks or quick remedy chems of any kind, and why I waited so long to do this, observe others experience, which seems very positive over a good length of time now.

I also don't want more than one tang in my 120g, my lavendar is too happy and peaceful to change that.

For me, there just came a point that I'm not enjoying my tank, and I did not want to add any sps for fear it would just get choked out, this seems to be a good resolve to those issues.

Well, done w/ my 2 week period, did my 30% WC, I'm absolutely amazed at results, and not a spec of harm done to any livestock, including my magnifica anemone which I was a little concerned about, totally fine.

Of course I plan to stay on keeping nutrient levels low, stay on good WC's and such, but man what a difference, wish I would have done this long ago...
