      Seanmcknew Double tank upgrade

So I have decided to reclaim my Living Room. My 180 is just taking up to much room. So I have broken down my 90 and will be replacing it with a new 180. I bought a new drilled 180 so I don't have to brake down and risk livestock suffering. The 90 will now be gone and a new 70 tall put into my Living Room. Today's activities were move my 90 and stand and tile where it was removed. I also built 50% of my 70s stand. Pictures will be uploaded as I go. Here's the stand. It will probably be painted white.

90 is gone along with stand. Closet is tiled. I'm hoping to finish the stand and get first coat of paint on it and tear into the wall to reframe it to the right opening. I will also be running three dedicated circuits to the new tank.

Day 2. Stand is completely skinned. 1/2" foam insulation glued to the back side of the skin for sound. 2 coats inside and 1 coat outside. Light sand and then coat two. I also got the wall framed out for the 180.

Paint is done. Sump put into place. Did some rock work too. I put acrylic rods on most of the rock to pick it together. After stepping back and looking at it I realized something was missing. I didn't account for the overflow....😮. I will be drilling it this weekend hopefully as I ordered drill bits and a guide today.

The 70 tall is drilled now I also got a new sca301 protein skimmer. I've been hampered a little because I'm sick. Hopefully I can re-aquascape today and tomorrow and have the over flow siliconed in next week.
