Question Silicone type for glass to glass

I'm cutting glass right now for my sump. I thought it would be easy to pick out a silicone caulk at HD. No such luck. When I asked someone, they pointed me toward the glue section (i didnt want to) where she recommended 3 products. Two did not have glass as an application. The third was not recommended for use in proximity to animals. Im sure the last one would be fine when cured, but I wanted silicone, not glue.
Anyhow, I ended up getting GE Silicone II for Windows and Doors. Is this okay? What type are you guys using?

      Silicone

Does the tube say non-toxic? I purchased a tube of aquarium silicone a while back at PK its not as cheap ($11 a tube) as HD, but its made specificly for aquariums.

mm. No, it doesn't say non-toxic. It say's not for use in aquariums. I imagine that's just a liability disclaimer like many products we use for aquariums. Looks like the sump needs to be delayed. In addition to the silicone issue, the glass panes I had were tempered. Bah!

I have a couple tubes of aquarium DAP sealant that HD use to sell, i can only find it at Lowes now, it's 100% silicone, harmless to fish and does not shrink, if you need a tube i'll give you one. Darrin

      100% Silicone ad HF

100% Silicone is in the back with acrylic sheets in doors and windows section. Its around $5.00.

You do not want something that has antibacterial or contains some type of fungicide.

i just went to the hd on balboa and bought lOCTITE EXTREME REPAIR/FLEXIBLE BOND AQUARIUM SAFE. $3.99 For 1oz.
The guy that worked there said they don't carry the stuff they used to that also said that it was "fish safe" It was in the glue section by the paint aisle.
