What is a good algae eater for a frag tank?

What would you guys recommend for a small fish that eat algae? I have some hair algae/green algae growing in my frag tank and I’m not sure what fish to get that will eat it. I was thinking a lawnmower blenny or maybe a really small yellow tang? What would you guys suggest? I bought some snails but they are not eating it

Hey Travis. I had pretty big hair algae issue in my frag Tank & now virtually gone. I added a dozen more of the baby hermits, lawnmower blenny, yellow tang & an Urchin! And now algae free! 🐠😃

Chia pets hahahahaha, my Algae isn’t really that bad but I am kind of OCD and don’t want it growing on the frag plugs LOL. I’m going to take your device, I’m going to go buy some permits, yellow tang, and a urchin

Ron, you have to come by soon and check out the new setup now that’s it’s been running a few months.

I recommend a lawnmower blenny. mine was constantly grazing tank walls, rocks and frag rack/plugs. My yellow tang didn't do much.

I added a small kole tang and he's grazing all day.. so much so he's bullying the blenny since they compete for the same food. I tried to catch the kole but he's too smart.. end up catching the lawnmower who's super skinny due to lack of algae and getting bullied and sent him back to aquatic warehouse.

I have add large seahare and a few turbo snails, they plowed thru my algae fairly quick. Two weeks now and I’m nearly algae free and it was bad.

I put a turbo snail in there, but I have a bunch of SPS frag’s and I ended up taking him out because he was just crashing right through them all LOL
