emergency water change or let it ride?

My stupid pistol shrimp barricated my mystery wrasse behind a rock for the last two days. Today i dove in to figure out what happened and found him. During the process i pissed off a large zoa rock because i accidentally smoothed it and it start excreting something. Now all the zoa are excreting that same thing and my hammers have retracted. Ive seen the zoa's do this before because of my stupidity, but never to this level.

Anyone know what it is and if i should worry. Its all white and stringy.

It could be Paly toxin excreting itself. Be very careful because it’s highly poisonous and can put you in the hospital. If you don’t run carbon, I would highly sugggest getting some right now

ya.. i am hoping it wasn't.. it didn't start until my hands were leaving the tank, i normally wear glove when going near them but didn't. i just changed up my carbon to some new stuff. i'll probably start getting some water heated up as well.

If it were me i'd do around 30% wc then run carbon and some poly fikter. Whatever it is its not good.

Whys the water 65? That may have resulted in your corals closing and the stringy stuff may just be mucus layer.
