what kind of Eel this is?

Anybody know what kind of Eel this is? The pet store didn’t have an ID. It’s very similar to the Golden Dwarf Moray but it’s markings are different and it’s more of a sand color.

I was ask No about that eel last week and Matt that gets their livestock said he had no idea what it was. Said the wholesaler had the tank marked assorted eels with multiple different types. My son wanted it really badly, but even though we were pretty sure it stayed smaller than most, i wasn’t gonna but it without knowing it’s max size. It has the same face as the golden dwarf. My sons gonna be pissed!!

Sorry couldn't resist.
But not a golden dwarf moray. They don't have makings like that. They can have random spots but not patterned markings like the pic

It’s actually my buddy’s eel, I have a golden dwarf eel in my tank. I was just trying to help him figure out what it was. If it doesn’t work out, i’m sure he’ll post it up.
