I'm a newby to reefs and SW in general. I just setup a 65g tank w/ 60+/- lbs of LR. I was excited today to see new organisms appear overnight but after consulting the only book I have (Reef Secrets) I am concerned I may have an undesirable species of Aiptasia or Anemonia which I should remove immediately. Can someone help identify from the rather poor picture? Thanks.

Why no responses? Am I doing something wrong? Is this a stupid question? Thanks to both MustangBill and SDFishman, I got some great advice. Just wondering why no online responses.

Well not to be the ass or anything, but yeah your thread is in the wrong spot. This (Livestock) section is designated for those that want to sell or trade. However it is probably viewed by everyone that comes to sdreefs so I am not sure why nobody responded. I think that the quality of photo makes it really hard to determine if it really is "aiptasia". This may help you get started
