      Anyone id this bug we found?

      I found it outside of our house here in San Marcos, it's a bit woodsy around our house and we live in an older house ourselves! I've lived around here locally my whole life and never seen one! Pretty neat looking I just want to make sure they aren't something harmful! It was about the size of a small cricket!
