ManTis' 45 gallon...
Sup fellow reefers! Since my new addition to the family I have some free time in between nappings, I finally have a chance to get this 45 gallon up and running. I was contemplating on setting it up or to sell it before our new baby Audrey arrived. I think this is the cleanest looking setup I ever have.
Equipment:
•45 gallon tank, sump, and stand made by Crystal Dynamics.
-tank dimensions: 30"L x 20"W x 18"H with built in center overflow box.
-sump dimensions: 22"L x 14"W x 15"H, 3 chambers.
-stand dimensions: 32"L x 22"W x 37"H, with pull off door.
•Ecotech Marine VorTech MP10 quiet drive wireless.
•Ecotech Marine VorTech MP40, old school white box driver.
•Euro Reef Protein Skimmer, old school with the twist off union style collection cup.
•Via Aqua Titanium 250W heater.
•Jebao DC-6000 Aqua Marine DC for return pump.
•Aqua Ultraviolet 25W uv sterilizer.
•Reef Breeder Proton 16 LED Light.
•DJ 8 channel Switch board.
As for livestock I think I'm just going to go with cheap and inexpensive fish and corals. I have some live rocks from my 90 gallon that I'm breaking down soon. And I got 4 bags of Tropic Eden Reef flakes that I was going to use it for my 90 gallon but never got around to it.
Here is what I got so far on the setup.
This is the new addition to my family, baby Audrey!
And here is the best tank I have to date with Nemo, Dory, and their friends. Hahaha
Ok on to the serious stuff.
