      Acrylic Frag Tank Restored

      Hey guys
I wanted to share my first time experience removing scratches from an acrylic frag tank I bought. It took me about an hr to comlete the job, the tanks front side and top was completely covered in scratches, minor and some deep ones. I went with the Novus 3 system, highly recommended. I used wet/dry sand papper 800 and 2000, micro fiber cloths, buffer, spray bottle with water and 2 drops of detergent. Tools- Sander, Drill. I spend less than $50 getting everything I needed( Novus, cloths, buffers, sand paper). It is not as hard as it looks, it is very simple and affortable to do yourself. Not bad for my first time, very satisfied. Here are some before and after pics.

Nice job, that was super scratched!

I just did this to my headlights a few weeks ago, sounds similar. 2 coarse grits then 2000 then polishing compound.

      Thanks
Yes, very similar. Ive seen videos of others using headlight restoration kits to remove scratches. Will work but some headlight solutions leave oil marks after, some can easly be cleaned.
