      Bacterial bloom/hair algae?

My 20 gallon tank is new and has been cycling for 2 weeks with MB7, I also have been ghost feeding fish flakes every day for the past week. I noticed some fuzzy white stuff on my BRS reef saver rock. This morning it is all over and it is getting longer.

What can this be? What should I do next?

      Thanks

Do you mean that little white string? It's nothing, when your tank is really going you will always have a little algae removing nutrients from the water and some snails and crabs and pods and other things eating the algae and growth. As long as you're not massively overfeeding or using tap water or never doing water changes, and you have a good cleanup crew and all that, it will all work out just fine.

The short answer to your question of what you should do: Nothing, just continue what you're doing and enjoy watching things happen!

I have a fluval m60 24 gallon tank with fluval sea protein skimmer, fluval CP2 circulation pump and Eheim Jager 75 watt heater.

may want to add another circulation pump, one for each side of the tank.
