      My crazy massive tank build

Hi there so some of the guys that have seen my posts for different things for this tank asked me to create a build thread. Thanks to for sending me the ad for this crazy deal from Premier Reefs forum! I was only able to touch this tank because it was a steal of a deal. Getting it down here from Ontario CA was another ordeal. This all started late October and today I FINALLY got this sucker into the house!!! It's approx 780G 12'x26"x48" tall!! What a relief. It will still be a couple months before I'm ready for water but here's some pics of her in room!! 😱🤗

Nice. My tank is 43" deep. I love my depth. Just be prepared to always have towels and grippers ready

Is all equipment going under the tank in the in stand or will you have a "fish room" or spot in the garage?

I couldn't work on a tank that's taller than 48 inches. I'd have to outsource. But with a panel that tall the view has got to be great. I cant wait to see how this turns out.

My biggest regret on my tank was not having a taller stand....it's a pain to work or do anything in the sump. Hopefully you have everything planned out...looking forward to the build.
Are you getting inside the tank to aquascape?

You just need a very large sump that can handle the amount of water your body displaces when you get in the tank to do maintenance.

lol I know the height scares me the most. I need to get some good grippers and long handles. Sump will be under Tank and I did plan it out I had to shorten stand to have room above. But it's going to be tight. I really wish I had a fish room!! Going to be a pretty basic system and think I'm just doing kessils for lighting. Plan on just doing hardier corals and avoiding corals that larger angels would be more likely to eat.

Mama mia!! That's almost as tall as the door, that is going to look amazing! A huge tank for the fish to cruise around in
