Ladies and Gentlemen,
Ten years ago, we created a show that took the aquarium industry by storm. The Marine Aquarium Expo was for the first five years (2008-2012) the largest-attended event for the aquatics industry! Unfortunately, We set a standard that became a double-edged sword. As our attendance grew, so did expectations. But as most business-minded people already know, constant growth is impossible to maintain over the long term. These last couple years we struggled maintaining our attendance and certain individuals turned on us like lions-on-a-zebra-kill.
The bulk of the aquatics industry has evidently decided to "wait-and-see" before committing to register for MAX 2017. THIS WILL KILL THE MAX SHOW PERMANENTLY! (I cannot emphasis this point strongly enough) as a non-profit entity and volunteer (unpaid) organizers of this great event, there are NO RESERVES or resources available to us to maintain this event for you. (those last two words are about as accurate as it gets)
Unless we gain either:
A) a significant number of new exhibitors register before Feb. 17, 2017
and/or
B) a major sponsor for the show.
and/or
C) a buyer to take over operations.
Then this ENDS the Marine Aquarium Expo permanently.
THIS IS OUR FINAL CALL TO REVERSE THIS
