Unhappy Unable to access website through Comcast, Houston

Now this is weird. Having moved to Houston, TX to finish my degree, I have been unable to access SDReefs.com through Comcast here. Doesn't matter what device (tablet, laptop, smart phone), site times out.

But I can reach here on my cell phone connection (AT&T).

I'm typing this via remote desktop control of my desktop computer located in San Diego.

Just thought I'd post this strange issue, doubting there is anything that can be done about it...

There's multiple threads about issues like this. Try a search to see what others have a done for more ideas. I had similar issues a while back and it was a dns issue w/ google. I changed my DNS servers to 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 and was able to get on.

Your ISP might have some sort of built-in firewall that blocks the website. Calling them and letting them know might fix the issue. Might have to change some settings on modem.

I've surfed hundreds of sites and only SDReefs.com doesn't load, so I wouldn't know why Comcast is blocking this site.

Changing DNS servers solved it. I tried Google's Public DNS but it didn't work. I then tried OpenDNS and voila!

One the most irritating thing about this site is the "random" question... What team plays at the Qualcomm Stadium... There were times I answered that question every possible way - and it was wrong every time. Chargers, San Diego Chargers, SD Chargers, The San Diego Chargers... None of it worked. ****in' retarded. Glitchy ass site.
