      Budget frag tank build.

I started with 2 fiberglass tubs that i picked up off Craigslist for $5. And some bakers racks i have accumulated over the years from peoples throw aways.
I had a old overflow laying around that had 2 bulkheads. Also a 40 gallon sump with a reef octopus 150 skimmer that traded my uncle for. Because this is in the garage i wanted the least amount of pumps creating heat so i have only 1 in sump pump feeding tub 1 and a gravity feed into tub 2. I didnt want to spend a ton on the pvc fittings. So i heated and bent all the tubes. Here is what i did day 1.

Really nice, like this. If I can ever afford a house I want to set up a bare bones shallow frag tank in the garage purely to propagate corals for sale. It might help offset expenses for my display tank.
