      My tanks are a et up to house both fish and shrimp with out worry of eggs/babies being eaten. I have my fine substrate layer on the bottom to keep my plants healthy, and some coarse rock on top. That way the babies have a place to hide and feed safely. I also have a ton of Tahiti moss. The back wall is a moss wall, and then I have a giant bundle in the center for them to hide out in also. Fish stay out of there.

      I just set up two 10 g scaper tanks and man i'm so hooked. I absolutely love it.

      I know they are "boring" color wise compared to other shrimp. But I have about 20 Amano shrimp in my 40g heavely planted tank. I can spend countless hours watching the little guys scury from plant to plant and swim across the tank.

      Wish i knee how to post pics, have a few fresh water set ups. 2gallon planted pico . 3 gallon planted pico, a 5 gallon planted bowl and a 135 planted shrimp tank now hosting tetras.
