This is about 3 years old and the older models were a lot bigger, 23 1/2" long so spreads nicely over a tank. Has custom setting to do dusk to dawn which is what I used to use but it can be programmed but only on it's screen. I also have another one that the blues went out on that you can have for free for maybe parts. $125
