Corals are still available for fragging

Thanks everyone for coming by last weekend. It was a huge success and corals got trimmed before the transfer to new aquarium. There are a few more colonies I can frag, including large frags. Prices are still good so come by. Text 619-813-4528.

      Purple Plasma. 3/4"-1" $30-40:

Would love a frag, but I can't keep sticks alive. Maybe i need to look at a calcium reactor. Only I'm ignorant when it comes to that.

Two part dosing with Mg will also work, just need to dose regularly.

Is dosing better than running a reactor?

IMO no but it will work fine in smaller tanks. In systems with large colonies and water volume over 75 gal it can become expensive. But as long as your SPS are not big, the alkalinity demand is not too high and dosing will be just fine even in bigger tanks.

Just wanted to give this guy a +1, DO NOT hesitate to purchase frags from the guy, I did not want to write anything yet until my QT process was over and after a 3.5 week QT weekly dipping ( no pest fell off as well with any of the dips ) they are healthy, in the main tank and encrusting. The QT was done in a 10G tank, with a par38 light. daily WC etc. Mind you, The corals i got were mini colonies. so swings were bound to happen, But no losses at all! great guy to get frags from. Will be coming for more!
