that's one way to do it! Looks like fun. I'm pretty sure that Florida has open season on these things and you don't even need a fishing license to take them. They want them gone as humans are the only thing in the ocean that can do anything about them. yeah they're pretty but also invasive and eat everything else, destroying the area.

I wonder what the life span of a "Lion fishing Glock-rod" is going to be? I am thinking of the stories of AK's that our soldiers found hidden in rice fields in Viet Nam. Supposedly you could pluck them out of the muck and still fire them without jamming?! Back to the Glock, are they that resistant to saltwater that you could just dip them in fresh water and be good to go next weekend, or would the fisherman have to break it down and clean it after 3 or 4 clips were spent? I'm already deaf, but I think I'd be happy hunting with only a Hawaiian sling.

It would need extensive cleaning after each session. Saltwater would be highly corrosive to the internals.

The stories about AKs are true. They will outlive you for sure and concerning the glock. A good freshwater dip and taking it apart and cleaning all the springs and small pieces, I'm sure that it will last just fine. It's just the little parts here and there that need to be cleaned daily and no issues

I've had my AK for over years and I've never had it jam on me as well and it's been through hell lol

Lol too bad my guns are worth more than a glock, I wouldn't risk them

But than again I'd buy a piece of junk glock just to do that lol

As much as I love my jbl woody and can agree that I'd still be happy with a Hawaiian sling, that does look like fun! I'd be lathering up that glock with frog lube though.

That's what I was thinking, the gun they were firing looked clean. I think I'd have mine in a custom bag filled with cosmoline, and resurface to reload.
