      I have a lot of them I'm noticing I picked up a rock and a saw a lot running from under it

      Most likely an amphipod and that was my first guess too, and yes especially if you have many under a rock, but there are some similar creatures as well, check amphipods on that link I posted to see if that is indeed exactly what you are seeing.

      Looks like fish & coral food. If they are under the rocks, probably eat detritus, not corals or softies, or fish.

      There are different types of amphipods and copepods, but typically amphipods are shaped like a comma and move around pretty quick, mostly stay in dark areas and come out at night, but yes both amphipods and copepods are very beneficial, as are some types of isopods too.

      Have you put live (un-dipped) plants in your system?

      Live rock, live food!, or they sneaked in at night. Time to build a wall?

      Many of us go out of our way to have amphipods or copepods, they actually sell them online.
      I have a refugium solely for their reproduction needs, the fish benefit from them greatly, and if you have fish like mandarins or anthia, certain wrasses, they are pretty much a must have for success in keeping those.

      Nope I dip everything, only one thing wasn't dipped and that was one live rock
