      63g Acropora Reef

      Beginning of my new Acropora Reef

      I purchased the tank and stand from lotsafishies

      I had to start off by sanding the stand and filling any in perfections with wood putty. Sanded a few more time and then painted it with Rustoleum Gloss Black Enamel. Here is the finished stand. The tank still needs a major cleaning. Should have it up and running in a few weeks.

      Planned system:
      Leemar 36x20x20 rimless
      40" tall black stand
      8x39w ati sunpower dimmable
      2 Maxspect Gyre 130
      Apex controller
      Advanced acrylics 30x12x12 sump
      Tunze ato
      RLSS DB5I skimmer
      Vertex 3l Zeovit reactor
      Komoer 3 channel dosing pump
      Waveline DC4000 return pump
      1/4hp chiller

      Looking good how are you running your gyres? Do you use icecap?I've been thinking about getting a 2nd one on my 120

      Yeah, wish I had 150s. The 130s worked great in my shallow frag tank, imo they are too weak for this tank

      Interesting I have 1 150 only about 3/4 turned up seems plenty but the far side is alittle weak but if I turn up more it makes it too strong on the other side and blows the tissue off my Sps hah. I think another 150 would be ideal. Maybe both set at 1/2 speed
