      Need solar referral

Hey guys, anyone have a good referral for solar? Looking to get a solar setup in the next couple months.

Also, let me know if there are better panels or brand names.

Hey Ray I just put a 7.5k system on my house and am loving it. I also work for a solar company called OTI Solar that is based out of Vista and can give you a run down of what is good and economical. Give me a buzz and we can talk about what your looking for.

I went with Heritage Solar who I was very happy with. However they are no longer in business as they sold to SunCraft Solar in Kearny Mesa. I have not had to deal with SunCraft. My only words of advice is to make sure you go with SunPower solar panels. They are the go to panels stay waya from samsung, LG and the like.

Hey Mike, I'll give you a call to this week. And we should set up a day to go for a ride.

I got estimates from the following:
      Solar City
      Semper Solaris
      Baker Electric
      Stellar
      Sullivan

The company I went with was $5000 cheaper and a 30 year warranty.

I shopped and shopped. I tried to beat their price and couldn't be happier with the service. I ended up going with SunFusion 1-888-506-3732. Walter the owner is very helpful and will appreciate your aquarium. I ran into them at the Del Mar Fair, they have a special going on.

Micro inverters are attached to each solar panel. Rather than one large inverter for the entire system. They can be monitored individually and you can tell when one panel is failing.

Is that a better option in the long term? Do the panels tend to fail as they get older? Are micro inverters more expensive?

Sorry, I am only now just beginning to get info on this.
