Who wants to go fishing?

I think we have a few fishermen on this board so I thought about organizing a chartered trip out there for SDR folks.

Only planning for a 3/4 day trip (6am-6pm). Likely a Friday since weekends are usually more expensive.

I personally like the Malihini for 3/4 day trip.

I would also want to limit the head count to about 30-35 people which would mean ~$150 per person including license/pole rentals. Malihini can technically fit 51 but its not fun when its too crowded.

Obviously, everyone needs to agree on the date also but if we plan ahead of time, i think it can be done.

So, im throwing it out there. If we can get a head count of 30 or so, im more than willing to organize this.

if you wanted to do a smaller 12 person charter you could go with the Vendetta. I believe they are out of HM aswell. better hurry those bluefin are getting ready to leave. We saw them 2 miles off the coronados today

You don't need a passport to fish in Mexican waters. Unless something has changed. You just need a Mexican fishing license that the boat will provide

Russ things have changed. That's why I haven't gone to the islands last year and this year. You will need passport or the card and Mexican fishing permit to fish in those water.
