Very sorry to hear.
Good luck and stay strong, LMK if you need anything on my end....
Good to hear your spirits are up! Cancer is beatable. My brother in law was diagnosed with cancer 8 years ago in his leg at age 12. He's been cancer free now for almost 6 years. Good luck moving forward and you will beat this no problem!

I figured I should update this thread...
I'm going in for my fifteenth and final round of chemo next week.
This has been a hellofa unexpected ride but everyone has been awesome throughout.
As unfortunate as this was, I'm happy with where I stand today -and the fact that I am standing!!!! I still have a good window of recovery left ahead of me but I'm looking forward to getting back to some normalcy.
Reef on!
Daniel,
Hola at me if you need anything brother. I was out of the country when you posted this and had no idea. Let's grab coffee sometime when your free brother.

This year has been rough on us all. I know many that have lost loved ones from covid, I have a couple friends that lost their homes in the fires up north, and this divisive political landscape hasn't exactly helped unite our communities.
If all that wasn't enough, earlier this year we found a recurrence of the sarcoma I battled throughout 2016. It's relatively stable and I've been busily meeting with my doctors here at UCSD as well speaking with specialists up at UCSF and UCLA.
Although I wasn't too excited about the idea of starting chemo again, the resounding consensus from all medical professionals was to start with that to keep it somewhat controlled, so I went ahead and started up the poison drip again back in the end of July.
A few reefers I'm close with know but I thought it appropriate to share with you all just like I said four years ago, not as a pity party, but moreover to give others a heads up as to what all is currently on my plate. I'm still unsure about several aspects but as things move forward just know that my time and energy is limited.
**** dude, I didn’t know about this thread. Wishing you the best.
Same here, I had no idea. If you need any help for anything, hit me up. You will get through this!
How are u doing with the recent treatments, Dan? I hope and pray you’re feeling well and the next scans provide some positive results!!
Dan I expect a visit next year in Prescott, guns and hiking are out in my back yard to the national forest or spend some time on the islands with us.
Dam bro im sorry to hear this is happening again man.... real talk if you need a ride to chemo, groceries, saltwater pick up or just want to talk anytime im here bro i know you aint asking for a pity party but we all need support at times..... stay strong and keep a positive attitude.

Thanks guys I appreciate it ...I'm doing alright at the moment managing everything (for the most part lol) but may very well need a hand with things down the road, so by all means keep asking -I am not too proud to ask for help, but my whole life have always been so independent that it's hard for me to remember or think of asking for help from folks and not just taking everything on myself ...doesn't help that I'm mildly notorious for bitting off more than I can chew either
Sounds good Edward! And yeah Mel, I actually just did another petct on Friday so we'll see
Stay strong, cancer and chemo sucks but you have to do what must be done. I know from family experience how hard this is. I wish you the best, you will beat it!
