      Reef irony

Trying to start a discussion that isn't about buying or selling. Let's here your ironic stories!
      Here's mine:
All of my algae eating snails are covered in algae, how ironic is that???

I scored a deal on here for a dual MH ballast & lights that I used to temporarily light my new tank during a tank up grade / swap.

After the tank swap, the lights were sitting in my way in the garage for about 6 months when the guy I bought it from posted an emergency light fail. He needed a replacement ballast.

I was so glad to see it go! I even gave the gentleman a frag for being so timely in picking it up.

      That reminds me....
I make sure my clients have battery operated air pumps in case the power goes out. Well, my power went out so I had to run to pet co to buy one!

I had a lawnmower blenny who ate literally a back wall of algae on a 4ft tank then died... but did a hell of a job that night clearing my issue up. His belly was huge! rip.

Wasn't getting good growth so I tried to be better about my parameters, bought new test kits, tested more regularly, tuned up the skimmer, dial in the fuge, weekly WC.
Talbot damsel ripped up my DSB and dug tunnels to the bottom, skimmer failed, new light scorched my corraline.
SPS tripled in size, chalices colored up and doubled mouths and the bubble algae died.
Now need to sell some corals, they're too big..
