I was posting things for sale as I down size and saw this ad on craigslist... anyone else think this is not a bounce mushroom?

Not the same. The bulbs on the ends are much bigger than the typical Yuma. Probably a simple genetic defect on a normal Yuma, but that's what the kids pay for these days.

The article infers they are using a specific frequency of light to sunburn the cartenoid on a rhodacits making it swell up and bounce. sometimes it lasts sometimes not so much.
Get out the sun lamps.
